17th Annual River Hill Independence Day Parade

River Hill's Independence Day Parade is an opportunity to recognize our elected officials and honor veterans of foreign wars. It is also a chance to celebrate the diversity and strengths of our community through the participation of local non-profit organizations, scout troops, sports teams, area businesses, and other. Join the River Hill Community Association in celebrating Independence Day!
46th Annual Longfellow Friends of the Traditional 4th Parade
July 4, 2016 10:00am
Lineup begins at 9:15am in the parking lot of Longfellow Elementary School. It will travel from one end of Hesperus Drive to the other and return to the school via Eliot's Oak Road. Among other participants will be volunteers from Food for Tomorrow. Please bring canned goods to donate to the food bank. All are welcome to participate or just come and watch. No advance registration!

County Executive Allan Kittleman invites you to the Columbia Lakefront for an evening of family fun and fireworks. This year's event will feature live entertainment and more! For the celebration activities schedule, go to www.howardcountymd.gov/rap. The fireworks will begin at dusk. Rain date: July 5.
Maple Lawn Street Festival

Located at the Entertainment Pavilion and parking lot along side the building at 8161 Maple Lawn Boulevard. Enjoy a night out with local vendors, exhibitors, Kids' Zone and lots of family fun! Watch live performances from local bands int he Maple Lawn Entertainment Pavilion. Stay for the fireworks at 9:15pm. Proceeds from the event benefit the Greenebaum Cancer Center at the University of Maryland.
