Last night my family and I attended Monster Jam Triple Threat Series at Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore. We were excited to see our family favorite Grave Digger, along with my daughter's new favorite Monster Mutt. If you've ever been to Monster Jam Triple Threat, you know there are multiple competitions throughout the night to earn points to crown the winner of the night. Not only do they compete in their monster trucks, but each driver also competes in a Speedster and ATV race. So much fun!

The night got off to a rocky start when Grave Digger's engine blew at the beginning of the competition. As I mentioned, we are huge fans so we were bummed that he was not able to compete in all of the events with his truck. We anxiously awaited updates to find out if they would be able to fix it in time for any of the events. The other competitors of the night included: Alien Invasion, El Toro Loco, Max-D, Megalodon, Monster Mutt, Soldier Fortune, and Zombie. It's so hard to choose another favorite because they are all great competitors. My daughter and I did become fast fans of the only female driver who drove Soldier Fortune. And for those of you who love a little piece of trivia. The driver of Soldier Fortune is married to the driver of Max-D. It was so much fun to see husband and wife compete!

Get your phones ready because YOU get to decide who wins. After each event the audience gets to vote for the winner and then they announce the score. They had rounds for racing and speed, a donut competition, tricks on 2 wheels, freestyle and more. Each competition brings more and more excitement to the crowd.
Last night, we got to see firsthand that even though these drivers and teams are fierce competitors, they truly care about each other. When Grave Digger's motor blew, mechanics from ALL the teams worked hard to get Grave Digger up and running for the competition. The truck wasn't ready to compete until the Freestyle competition, but it did get to come out and compete. This is not something you see every day and it was the camaraderie between the teams that was truly unique. Grave Digger made it out for freestyle and did the first back flip ever at Royal Farms Arena. It was awesome!

There was also a surprise appearance from local favorite Travis Pastrana who enjoyed a friendly competition with Max-D at intermission. The night was full of unexpected twists and turns, but was so much fun! Get your tickets and head over to Royal Farms Arena today or tomorrow. You don't want to miss Monster Jam Triple Threat Series!
