Find Your Family Fun during Kennedy Krieger Institute's ROAR For Kids

Macaroni Kid Columbia-Ellicott City-Western Howard is excited to be a Media Sponsor of Kennedy Krieger Institute's ROAR For Kids. Due to the pandemic, Kennedy Krieger Institute will once again be going virtual for this jungle-themed fundraiser event. With health and safety a priority to all, ROAR For Kids will be a weeklong celebration that includes a drive-through CARnival, a week of virtual family events, a virtual race, and mascot challenge!


5 Ways to Find your Family Fun during Kennedy Krieger Institute's ROAR For Kids virtual 5K run and low-mileage fun walk! 


1. Invite Friends to Join You or Cheer You On
Have your family join in the fun and register, so they can run with you while supporting Kennedy Krieger Institute. Click HERE to register family and friends! If family/friends are not able to join in the run they can cheer you on from the side lines


2. Dress Up for FUN! 

Wear a fun outfit or a costume to make the run more enjoyable! This will let people know that you’re participating in Kennedy Krieger Institute's ROAR For Kids and not just exercising. 


3. Run at a Local Park! 

Instead of running at home, choose to run at one our amazing parks in or around Baltimore or Columbia! Run anywhere that there is sunshine


4. Celebrate After Your Race!

You just completed a 5K run for a good cause, this is an accomplishment! Take it in and maybe support a local restaurant with friends! 


5. Do a Fun Photo Shoot!  

Take photos before, during, and after the race! Share how you ROAR on Facebook or other social media platforms using #ROAR4Kids
