Hi Everyone,
What a week in our household! The winter germs finally hit us and both kids were sick at some point this week. Adding illness into the holiday season is never easy or fun. Did I also mention it was my son's birthday as well this week? The big 13! Yes, it's official, we have a teenager in the house! I'm not sure how ready I am, but we are heading into this new adventure of life full speed of head.
We've been juggling more concerts and performances than ever before between both kids and all of their activities. It's so much fun to see them in their element. This past week was my son's performances and he literally "rocked out". He had a blast and we are so grateful to his amazing teachers for letting him express his creativity and talent. I'm sure there is a lot more to come in his musical journey. Up this week are my daughter's performances which I'm sure will be wonderful as well.
Winter break is just about here and I am ready! I cannot wait for some family time and relaxation to end the year. We still have our most special holiday tradition to do, bake Italian Christmas cookies. We are cutting it a little close timewise, but I am hopeful we will still be able to get them done before Christmas.
