Hi Everyone,
As I sit here writing this and listening to the wind howl outside, I'm reminded of the saying that "March comes in like a lion and out like a lamb." It truly sounds like that is the case today. I'm watching the weather closely this week since the St. Patrick's Day Parade in Baltimore is next weekend. I was really hoping for some nice warm weather instead of bitter cold like last year. Unfortunately it's looking like not only will it be on the cooler side, it might rain. That was definitely not what I was hoping for. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this storm moves a lot more north or doesn't happen so we can have a nice weekend.
Today we are seeing friends and exchanging the last of this year's Christmas presents. Yes, it is March and we are STILL celebrating Christmas. It seems like having kids and trying to get everyone to be healthy at the same time is sometimes a challenge. I'm looking forward to spending time with friends and enjoying the afternoon.
I finally put my snowmen decor away. I normally am anxiously waiting for spring after winter weather, but since we didn't get any this year, I feel a bit off in my seasons. I put a few St. Patrick's Day decorations out, but it doesn't even feel like it's March yet! Hopefully putting the snowmen away will make it feel a little more like spring is on its way.
