Music in Movement Ensemble (MIME) will be performing a short chamber concert this Friday, July 26th that you don't want to miss! MIME is a new, innovative music orchestra local to Howard County that brings music to life. With their performances being shorter in length in an informal setting, it's the perfect family friendly concert to attend!
MIME combines memorized classical music with choreography to create a visual presentation that brings the music to life. MIME musicians work with a choreographer to bring movement and breath to each performance. They do something no other professional orchestra does by creating unique choreography and playing entirely from memory and without aid of a conductor. We are so lucky to have MIME right here in Howard County so we can experience this unique performance.
