Hi Everyone,
How is everyone feeling 11 days out from Christmas? My kids had their orchestra concert together on the same night this year! That may not seem like a big deal, but for the first time in forever (as you sing Frozen in your head), this is the first December we haven't had an overload of performances leading up to the holiday. Coincidentally, my son gets to celebrate his birthday on a Saturday without a concert! For the last few years, he has had an orchestra concert on his birthday. Since his birthday is today, he is able to relax from school and extra curricular activities and enjoy the day.
I can proudly say that I have wrapped all of the presents that are in my house. (Unless there are gifts in the boxes I haven't opened that were delivered yesterday). This is a HUGE accomplishment that I am pretty excited about. I haven't finished decorating the house or even thought about Christmas cards, BUT the gifts are wrapped. My goal is to finish decorating this weekend so that the house can be ready to go and I can enjoy it for the rest of the holiday season. I made a big dent the weekend after Thanksgiving and then haven't had much time or energy to finish. Hopefully, I can make it happen this weekend.
