Celebrate Kwanzaa: A Cultural Experience for the Whole Family!

Join us for a vibrant and festive celebration of Kwanzaa, where we honor African heritage, history, and the values that bring communities together. This family-friendly event offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty and traditions of Kwanzaa through hands-on crafts, discussions, and more.

Event Highlights:

  • Crafts & Activities: Try your hand at traditional African fabric stamping and create beautiful, unique designs. Also, enjoy bead stringing—a fun craft for all ages—and take home a colorful keepsake.
  • Music: Families will have the chance to introduce themselves and warm up to the soulful rhythms of African music, setting the festive mood and connecting with the cultural roots of Kwanzaa.
  • Cultural Experience: Learn about the seven principles of Kwanzaa—Unity, Self-Determination, Collective Work and Responsibility, Cooperative Economics, Purpose, Creativity, and Faith.
  • Light Refreshments
